The Equinox Theatre has created a step-by-step teaching manual for using comedy improvisational theatre exercises and games in the classroom.

The Teacher's Manual instructs you how to play the games, gives suggested uses to tie in with your classroom curriculum, offers a section on trouble-shooting, and more.

The Equinox Theatre has used these games in school residencies in every area of education, from grades K-12, and with over 3,000 students. It has been a thrill to watch students' abilities and confidence soar.

These improv games are also notabley useful for children with non-traditional learning styles.

School Artists-In-Residence:

The Equinox Theatre Company delivers Artist-In-Residencies in the schools for grades K-12. They have done residencies in schools all over Montana, serving over 2,000 children with drama and improvisation workshops from an hour to two weeks.

Touring available:

"The Equinox Theatre has several productions available for touring including any of the productions you see on our Season list, as well as the ever-popular women's comedy troupe, Broad Comedy. Please call us to discuss touring options."

Renting the Theatre:

The Equinox Theatre is available for rental to the public.

Possible renters include: theatre companies, meetings, corporate presentations, musical performances (the acoustics are fantastic), bands, school shows, performing recitals for private teachers and their students, video viewing groups, books clubs, fundraisers, and more.

The theatre seats 90 in comfortable cushioned black chairs. There is a curtain along the upstage wall for entrances, and a backstage area. There is a lovely lobby with bathrooms. There is an office with access to a phone and fax. The theatre is fully equipped with lighting and some sound options. Further P.A. systems are available upon request.
